Hey chocolate lovers!πŸ«πŸƒ Spearmint leave’s and Chocolate Hazelnut cake. Its Hard to believe that Christmas is around the corner, I’ve been thinking of idea’s to create with food for Christmas that brings the joy for Christmas with our loved one’s.
Just a simple chocolate cake with chocolate icing and some creative spearmint Leave lollie’s and hazelnut’s on top, with the spearmint Leave lollies they were cut in half so they are not to heavy to put on the icing, I find them very pretty as the sugar on the spearmint Leave’s give that Christmas sparkle glidder towards the light.
Enjoy Lisa πŸƒ 125 grams of butter
3/4 cup of Billington golden sugar,
2 Eggs
1 cup of Lactose milk
1 Tablespoon golden syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 1/2 cup of self raising flour
3 Tablespoons Nestle chocolate
LOLLIES
1 packet of spearmint leaves cut in half’s use as many as you like with your creation
Handful of unsalted hazelnuts
ICING
2 Tablespoons of Nestle chocolate coco
1 tablespoon butter
11/2cup of icing sugar
1 Tablespoon milk
METHOD
Beat butter, sugar,eggs till smooth
Stir in golden syrup and vanilla essence, milk,, sift in the self raising flour mix well, baking paper on the bottom of the cake tin with butter wiped on cake tin, then spread the cake mix even in the cake tin,
Oven Bake for 35min to 40mins depending on oven , .
